John, I appreciate your assistance on this matter. I felt it was better to start over from scratch so I could really see what was happening. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled everything again but encountered the same 2 problems I neglected to tell you the first go around. .
1. Both times the install threw an error but completed. "An error occured please contact Quest Customer Service for assistance". The log files show this:
System.InvalidOperationException: An exception occured in the OnAfterInstall event handler of Quest.Extensions.Service.ProjectInstaller
The inner exception System.UnauthorizedAccessException was thrown with the following error message: Attempted to perform an unauthorized operation.
2. I am under the impression the framework installation installs/creates the ISV Proxy Certificate in the certificate store for me to export and then import to SCCM. Is this still correct? Becuase it is not creating the certificate and I don't know why.
On the previous install, another admin copied the ISV certificate from another server for testing and that is why it was most likely throwing the error in my original post.
