I am new to Quest Management Xtensions and have been tasked to resolve an issue. We created a service account to use for the g_strSMSUserId ID and I am having difficulty getting it to pass the connection tests. Where does this account need to be set up? Currently, we have it listed as local administrator on the following servers:
- SCCM Site Server
- SCCM Distribution Server
- SCCM SQL Server
- SCCM Software Update Point Server
QMX is installed on our DP.
If I use my account that is a domain admin, the tests all pass. If I use the service account, it fails the Connect to Site test with an "Error: not found". I found this link, which links to another article on how to configure the account within SCCM. This service account, as a member of the local administrator's group, should meet all of the criteria as defined in the second link, but I am obviously missing something. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thank you.
